Former Attorney General and famous lawyer, Ahmed Muizzu has said that the members of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) does not need salary same as other commissions.
Speaking at the parliament’s judicial committee, Muizzu said that JSC members work part time and so they do not need to be given a high salary as other commissions.
The JSC is consisted of a Supreme Court Judge, a High Court Judge, a judge from the lower courts, the Attorney General, Speaker of the Parliament, MP elected from the parliament, a member of the public, the President of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and a member appointed by the President.
