The seven state appointed members to the Board of Directors of the Bank of Maldives (BML) have been announced.

Among the members appointed to the board, the appointed CEO is Timothy Sawyer and Mohamed Shareef as the Deputy CEO.

Other members of the board include Juvariya Saeed, Sana Mansoor, Najeem Ibrahim Zakariyya, Hawwa Safuna and Hussain Thaufeeq Ali.

They will be officially appointed at a annual function to be held at the Ball Room of Hotel Jen on 30 July. The BML Board consists of seven state appointed members and three members representing other shareholders.

And so, the current members on the board, Mohamed Abdul Sattar, Ibrahim Mohamed are seeking to be re-elected again along with new candidate, Ahmed Mohamed (Mandey) who served as the Ambassador to India during the Presidency of Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
