The National Social Protection Agency (NSPA) spent MVR 57.9 million on financial assistance for people with disabilities in June.

According to NSPA, 15,414 people received disability support during the month, while 15,652 people were registered under the national disability registry by the end of June.

NSPA also provided MVR 6 million in therapeutic assistance to 129 beneficiaries during the month.

In addition, the agency disbursed MVR 16.2 million in financial assistance to 3,160 low-income single parents.
