Felidhoo, Fonadhoo and Goidhoo secured victories in the opening matches of the Maldives Super League Volleyball Tournament organised by the Volleyball Association of Maldives (VAM).

Felidhoo defeated Hanimaadhoo 3-1, while Fonadhoo overcame Maafushi in straight sets (3-0). Goidhoo claimed a hard-fought 3-2 win over Hirilandhoo after taking the deciding set 15-13.

The men's competition features seven island teams divided into two groups.

The tournament continues today, with Fonadhoo set to face Hanimaadhoo at 4:00 p.m. and Goidhoo taking on Thulusdhoo at 8:30 p.m.
