Bank of Maldives (BML) has introduced a new organisational structure and temporarily reshuffled four senior executives to strengthen accountability, improve customer service and support its long-term growth strategy.
The changes took effect on 4 August following approval by the bank's Board of Directors.
Under the six-month leadership rotation, Aishath Zamra Zahir has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer, Moosa Nimal as Chief Marketing Officer, Rashfa Jaufar as Chief Risk Officer, and Gary Laughton as Chief Credit Officer.
BML said the restructuring is aimed at simplifying the customer journey, strengthening leadership and supporting future growth. The bank added that the changes are internal and will not affect customer accounts, products, services or existing points of contact.
