Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has opened applications for the public to become a member of the commission.
Applications to become a member of the JSC has been opened to the public since the current member, Abdul Hannan's term is coming to an end.
An announcement issued by the Parliament Administration revealed that application will be open starting today till July 24. Applicants are to submit a copy of their ID Card, Academic Transcripts, Criminal Records and Resume to the JSC on or before July 24.
All applicants must be a Muslim, a Maldivian, of 25 years of age, free from being a convicted criminal and not be involved in a political party in any form.
A member will be elected through a vote by the Parliament.
