A team from the Presidential Commission on Deaths and Disappearances has started working in Fuvahmulah City to investigate the disappearance of Mohamed Shafeeu who went missing.

Following a tweet calling on the Maldives Police Service to re-investigate the disappearance of Shafeeu, the Commission tweeted that a team of theirs are operating in Fuvahmulah regarding the case and assured their commitment to find the truth.

Before his disappearance, Shafeeu was working on Angaga Island Resort. He was in Fuvahmulah, his home city, on holiday.
