Anti-Corruption Comission (ACC) is seeking a court order to present former Deputy Managing Director of Public Service Media, Shaayan Shahid to the ACC to be questioned regarding alleged corruption through PSM during the tenure of President Abdulla Yameen.

ACC is currently investigating corruption regarding PSM after their new management submitted several cases to the ACC.

Among these, works around Maldivian Idol has also been accused of being heavily influenced by corruption. Shaayan was one of the senior officials who was heading the project during the time.

ACC had previously revealed that a former board member of PSM has, on multiple counts refused to cooperate with their investigation.
