Former Housing Minister, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, who served in the administration of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, has said that the only way to show that flats were awarded to people illegally would be to frame him.

Speaking at a joint PPM-PNC function at the Carnival Area last night, Dr. Muizzu said that after the current administration declared that they would investigate illegal flat awarding in the first 100 days, they have not been able to find anything after eight months.

Muizzu said that the current administration is robbing every project launched by the former President Abdulla Yameen which has provided housing to many people.

The former Housing Minister said that the flat winners were officially decided, published and presented in writing all within the law. And robbing them from it now is harmful to the public.
