A temporary Flu Clinic has been opened up in state-run Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) due to an increase in flu cases recently.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the Hospital noted that their clinic will be open from 5:00pm till 12:00am starting today. Patients with flu symptoms will be able to seek appropriate treatment at the clinic.

Statistics published by HPA reveal that Influenza B has been on the rise in the Maldives since June. They have requested the public to be aware of this, and appealed to get the vaccine and necessary precautions.
