MNDF has said that the Coast Guard is assisting in rescuing a cargo vessel that sank in the Kaafu Atoll Kaashidhoo lagoon.

After the vessels maneuvering failed around 5:55 p.m. yesterday, the 70-foot vessel “Loins” sank after it was hit by a wave.

The Male’ Area Coast Guard is assisting in the recovery of the vessel according to the MNDF.
