Two nurses from the Kaafu Atoll Dhiffushi Health Center has been suspended.

An official from the Ministry of Health told One Online today that two local nurses were suspended from the Health Center. No further information were offered as they are being investigated by the Health Ministry.

The Ministry said that a case of negligence with the treatment at the Diffushi Health Center was reported to the ministry. And if a treatment was given outside the procedure, it will be investigated and action will be taken.

Sources say that the Ministry is investigating a case of negligent treatment of a patient who went for treatment at the Dhiffushi Health Center on the night of 24 June 2019.
