Singapore has held a colouful ceremonial reception to honor and officially welcome President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed.

At the ceremony, the national anthems of the Maldives and Singapore were played when President Solih and President Halimah stepped on the saluting dais before proceeded to inspect a Guard of Honor. President Solih then signed the visitors' book at President Halimah's office.

President Solih was introduced to the members of the Singaporean delegation and dignitaries. Members of the Maldivian delegation were also introduced to President Halimah at the ceremony.
