A car driving on Laamu Atoll Link Road has overturned after losing control.

Maldives Police Service said that in a car traveling north to south on the Laamu Atoll Link Road from Kahdhoo to Fonadhoo hit the cube blocks on the eastern side of the causeway and overturned the vehicle. Police said that the driver was a 25-year-old local man who has a driver’s license.

There were two people inside the vehicle at the time of the collision and no one was injured in the incident. Although the car took a lot of damage according to the police.

Police said that five blocks from the road well in to the sea during the collision.

A witness to the collision told One Online that the two people in the care were unharmed because the airbags were deployed.
