An investigative team of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has become active in Thulusdhoo, to investigate the Chief Magistrate of Kaafu Judicial Division, Mohamed Ragib Ahmed.

Director of JSC, Hassan Zaheen revealed to One Online that their team had traveled to the island of Thulusdhoo on Saturday morning.

He added that the JSC decided to carry out the investigation in the island itself since it was easier for them to travel there, rather than having to transfer and present all witnesses and evidence to the JSC in the capital city.

Last Wednesday, Zaheen revealed that the JSC was looking into eight separate cases related to Chief Magistrate Ragib. However, additional details on said cases were not provided.
