Supreme Court Justice Abdulla Didi has presented his defense to the questions raised by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) during the investigative hearing into a disciplinary issue of the justice.

JSC confirmed in a tweet that Justice Didi had presented his defense to the JSC in a written document on Thursday.

During the hearing held last Thursday at Dharubaaruge, Vice President of JSC Masthoor Husnee said that most of the questions raised were answered, and added that extra time will be provided if the defendant wished to highlight additional points.

JSC had then presented five days to Justice Didi, to submit a written defense to the allegations raised during the hearing.
