The Ministry of Tourism has again invited interested parties to develop resort projects in Kaashidhoo and Farumuli in Noonu Atoll.

In a Gazette announcement issued yesterday, the ministry said a 10-hectare island reclaimed from the Kaashidhoo lagoon is available for resort development. The project includes an island not exceeding 15 hectares, with a lagoon area of 71.18 hectares.

The ministry had previously announced plans in July 2019 to seek developers for a resort in Farumuli.

Interested parties are required to attend information clarification meetings to be held virtually via Microsoft Teams at 10:00 am on 16 February and 3 March. Bids must be submitted before 1 April.
