Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has held its Strategic Horizon Forum 2026 aimed at improving the company’s productivity and service quality.

MWSC said the forum was attended by members of the board of directors, the management team and heads of departments. During the forum, the company introduced its business plan for the year and discussed challenges related to its implementation and achieving targeted results.

The company said discussions also focused on identifying ways to overcome these challenges. MWSC outlined its strategic objectives, which include reducing operational costs and expanding services across different sectors.

MWSC noted that one of its key goals is to extend services beyond water provision while working closely with employees to generate sustainable income. The company said the Strategic Horizon Forum will help strengthen planning and operational strategies and support ongoing development of products and services for the benefit of the organisation and the public.
