Dhiraagu has launched its 2026 calendar under the theme “Year of Marine Interconnectedness,” highlighting the company’s role in connecting the Maldives and the interdependence of marine life.

The calendar was introduced at a special ceremony by Dhiraagu’s CEO and Managing Director, Ismail Rasheed, with senior officials and environmental advocates in attendance.

Speaking at the event, Dhiraagu’s Brand and Marketing Communications Director, Mirshan Hassan, said the calendar aims to raise awareness about the importance of marine life and sustainable environmental protection. He noted that ocean conservation is a key priority under Dhiraagu’s corporate social responsibility efforts.

The calendar features artwork showcasing the beauty of the Maldives’ marine life. Each month focuses on how different marine species depend on one another to coexist, reflecting the broader interconnectedness between people, nature, and the environment.

Dhiraagu said the sea is a strong symbol of interconnectedness in the Maldives, similar to the company’s role in connecting islands and supporting national development.
