Bank of Maldives (BML) and the Football Association of Maldives (FAM) have signed a three-year sponsorship agreement for the national football teams.
The agreement was signed by BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, with the signing carried out by FAM President Ahmed Thoriq. Under the partnership, BML will serve as the exclusive sponsor of the national men’s, women’s, and youth football teams.
Speaking at the signing, Shareef said it is a privilege to partner with FAM, highlighting the importance of supporting sports talent development in the Maldives. He said the bank aims to help grow football and inspire the next generation.
FAM President Thoriq said the partnership reflects BML’s trust in the development of Maldivian football. He noted that the agreement will support national teams and contribute to football development across the country.
BML has a long history of supporting football and has sponsored national teams for many years.
