Speaker of the Parliament, the former President Mohamed Nasheed, has met with the Chief Justice, Dr. Ahmed Abdulla Didi today.

While the parliament administration has confirmed that the meeting took place at the parliament offices, the details of the meeting and the topics of discussion are unclear at this time.

The meeting has taken place at a time where a disciplinary case against the Supreme Court Judge, Abdulla Didi was filed with the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) and the Supreme Court ordered to drop the investigation before the JSC decided to disobey the Supreme Court. The parliament has supported the JSC on the matter.
