A revision has been submitted to the Judicial Service Commission law, moving Department of Judicial Administration under the JSC.

The revision was submitted by Fonadhoo MP Moosa Siraj. DJA is currently under the Supreme Court.

The revision seeks to add the creation of JSC to their law. Under this, the DJA will continue their current works as instructed by the JSC.

If the revision passes, DJA still will be overseeing administrative works of judges.
