After delays due to an issue with the broadcasting system, today’s parliament session began at 10:45 a.m.
First on the agenda for today is the preliminary debate on the bill regarding the National University where the MP for Madaveli constituency, Hussain Firushan received the first opportunity to speak.
The parliament session today initially began at 9 a.m. today before being pushed back due to an issue with broadcasting system where the live feed did not have any audio.
There are two bills to be presented at the session today along with the preliminary debate of three and the National Security Committee of the parliament will be presenting some of the reports to the parliament floor.
Among the cases proceeding today, those that make it to the voting phase will have their votes as well according to the parliament agenda.
