The heads of all government companies are set to be invited to the parliament committee for state owned enterprises being held tonight.
Talking to the press about the work of the parliament, Fathimath Niusha said that tonight’s meeting of the committee for state owned enterprises is an important one where all the heads of the state-owned companies has been invited.
Committee for state owned enterprises is the parliament body monitoring the work of the state companies and keep them responsible.
The committee meeting tonight is the first meeting with the state companies. Tonight’s meeting will have the companies share the details of their work with the committee and present the committee mandate to the companies.
The head of the committee is the MP for Hulhudhoo constituency, Ilyas Labeeb.
