The national airline, Maldivian, has launched a special fare for Kochi and Trivandrum in India.

Island Aviation, which operates Maldivian, announced today that they have planned special flights to Trivandrum and Kochi using Airbus A320 aircraft. Under this fare, special prices have been set for flights from Velana International Airport and from Hanimaadhoo to Trivandrum.

The round-trip fares for the new promotion are:

  • Kochi: $176 (MVR 2,714)
  • Trivandrum: $232 (MVR 3,577)
  • Trivandrum-Hanimaadhoo: $337 (MVR 5,197)

Maldivian stated that passengers traveling under this fare will be allowed 20 kg of luggage.

In addition to India, Maldivian has been operating flights to some destinations in China as well.
