A motion has been filed to the parliament to review if the Judges on the Supreme Court meets the requirements and if there are any corruption cases against them.

The motion was filed today by the MP for Mid-Henveiru constituency, Ali Azim.

He proposed the motion during the debate proceedings on the Supreme Court ruling and notification to the parliament stating that any decision by the parliament or a committee of the parliament on a decision of the Judicial Service Commission to disobey the Supreme Court would be invalid.

MP Azim said that Supreme Court does not get the final word on everything that goes on in the country but made the final decision when the process takes a case to them.
