Bank of Maldives (BML) has launched a new promotion for American Express (Amex) credit cardholders, offering customers the chance to win 50,000 BML Rewards points.

The promotion runs from 15 September to 14 October and applies to all successful local transactions made through BML Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals and the BML Payment Gateway. At the end of the campaign, 50 winners will each be awarded 50,000 reward points.

BML, which operates the country’s largest card acceptance network, said its cards are accepted at over 8,000 merchants nationwide and millions of outlets worldwide. Amex cardholders also enjoy benefits such as exclusive partner discounts, flexible instalment plans, and reward points on every purchase.

BML Rewards points can be redeemed for flights, hotel stays, car rentals, or shopping. Customers interested in joining the promotion can apply for an American Express credit card through the BML Mobile Banking app or Internet Banking.
