The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has advised the public not to dive in the Ras Malé area due to ongoing excavation work.

In a statement, HDC said that a contractor’s dredger is operating round-the-clock between the borough areas and the land reclamation site from sites C and E of the Ras Malé reclamation project.

HDC has also published a chart showing where the dredger will be stationed in the borough area to collect sand for land reclamation, as well as the route it will take.
