The Ooredoo Nation Atoll eSports League 2025, the largest eSports tournament in the Maldives, has officially begun.

The league, which started on 20 May, features 49 teams representing 35 islands across 16 atolls. All matches will be played online, with teams competing in PUBG Mobile for a total prize pool of MVR 50,000.

The prize money will be distributed as follows:

  • First place: MVR 25,000
  • Second place: MVR 12,000
  • Third place: MVR 6,000
  • Fourth place: MVR 3,000
  • MVP: MVR 4,000

Ooredoo Maldives said the tournament aims to connect Maldivian gamers, provide opportunities to showcase their skills, and strengthen the country’s growing eSports community.

Teams from atolls including Alif Alif, Alif Dhaalu, Baa, Dhaalu, Faafu, Lhaviyani, Raa, Kaafu, Addu City, and Haa Dhaalu are among those competing.

Fans can follow live matches, updates, and highlights on Ooredoo Nation’s official social media platforms. All matches are being livestreamed on the Ooredoo Nation YouTube channel, enabling gaming enthusiasts across the Maldives to watch the competition in real time.
