President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has inaugurated the Bank of Maldives (BML) ATM service in AA. Maalhos.

The President launched the ATM service in a special ceremony held today during his ongoing trip to Ari Atoll North.

The ceremony was attended by BML CEO Mohamed Shareef, along with ministers, parliament members, and Maalhos Island Council members.

After launching the ATM service, the President presented a commemorative bank card to the island council.

BML had previously stated that they have launched ATM services on 47 islands this year, and have established ATM services on all islands of seven atolls. These are Dh, Ha, N, M, Sh, K, and B atolls. BML also mentioned that they are prepared to launch ATM services on 23 islands in five more atolls.
