Speaker of Parliament and former President Mohamed Nasheed has said that Maldivians who live in Sri Lanka want even easier visa services.
Speaking during a press conference in Sri Lanka with a high level delegation that includes Vice President Faisal Naseem, President Nasheed cleared that there were no imminent dangers to Maldivians in Sri Lanka.
President Nasheed noted that despite the terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka last April, the number of Maldivians visiting the country had not decreased. He highlighted that even now a lot of Maldivians continue to live in Sri Lanka.
He also added that most Maldivians in Sri Lanka want even easier visa services comoared to now.
