Six plots of land from the newly reclaimed area in K. Guraidhoo have been opened for sale.
In a gazetted announcement, the Guraidhoo Council stated that these plots are being sold in accordance with the island's Land Use Plan.
Interested parties can purchase bid documents from the 11th to the 19th of this month.
The announcement stated that bid documents will be sold from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on all government working days at the council's reception. The price for the bid document is MVR 20,000.
The deadline for bid submission is set for 1:00 PM on the 20th of this month.
The council's announcement stated that those who do not purchase bid documents or fail to arrive at the specified time for bid submission will not be given the opportunity to submit bids.
Each plot of land for sale in Guraidhoo will measure 2,214 square feet, according to the council's announcement. The plots are available for sale to Maldivians aged 18 and above or Maldivian businesses.

Guraidhoo, located 32 kilometers from Male', is an island where local tourism is growing. Currently, there are 13 operational guesthouses in Guraidhoo, with more under construction. The famous surf site "Tiger Stripes" is also located near Guraidhoo.
