Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has stated that they have made flat agreements with 640 applicants out of the 4,000 flats being constructed under the Gedhoruveriyaa Scheme.

In a post on X today, FDC said that they have scheduled to make flat agreements with 667 applicants so far, and to date, FDC has signed flat agreements with 640 applicants.

FDC said this represents 16 percent of the units in the project.

FDC began the process of signing agreements with flat recipients on the 21st of last month.

FDC plans to hand over the flats after completing the finishing work. As such, when handing over the flats, FDC says that fans, windows, doors, tiles, paint, bathroom fixtures, and sinks will be installed.

According to the latest information provided by FDC, 90 percent of the work on the 4,000 flats has been completed. It has also been decided to open up commercial spaces from these units for those who want to start new businesses.

In a press conference held on June 29, Muthtalib said that out of the 4,000 flats, only 1,000 flats have been completed so far. However, he also stated that water and electricity connections to these places will be completed within July, and all flats will be handed over by the end of September.
