A special meeting is in progress by the Judicial Council, regarding the Judicial Services Commission (JSC).

According to Depart of Judicial Administration (DJA), the meeting is regarding the JSC and their acts to obstruct justice beyond their purview.

The Judicial Council consists of Chief Justice, Supreme Court Justices, Chief Judges of High Court, Civil Court, Family Court, Juvenile Court and Criminal Court along with Drug Court as well as select two Magistrates from the field.

The council was formed under a resolution from the Supreme Court in reference to Articles 7, 141-B, and 156 of the constitution.

The Council was been formed to advise the Judges of the Supreme Court.
