The Ministry of Finance has reported that the state has received MVR 20.11 billion in revenue and grants so far this year.

According to the "Weekly Fiscal Development" report published by the Finance Ministry, the amount of revenue and grants received so far this year has increased by 8.8 percent compared to the previous year.

The Finance Ministry stated that by April 10 of last year, MVR 18.47 billion had been received in revenue and grants.

By April 10 of this year, MVR 20.11 billion has been received in revenue and grants, according to the Finance Ministry.

The Ministry said that 76 percent of the revenue received so far this year came from various taxes. This includes MVR 8.7 billion from GST, MVR 2.8 billion from Business and Property Tax, MVR 1.5 billion from Import Duty, and MVR 1.1 billion from Green Tax.

In addition to taxes, MVR 940 million was received as Airport Development Fee, according to the Finance Ministry. They also reported that MVR 1.1 billion was received as Property Income.
