Maldives Police Service has revealed that they had found a dead body of a Maldivian man in Laamu Gan.

According to police, the man in question was a 40 year old. The deceased body has been taken to Gan Regional Hospital, after they received the report initially around 12:45pm on Tuesday.

They additionally revealed that the man was on a vacation in Gan, and that there were no visible signs of any struggles or injuries on the body.

Police have begun an investigation into the case.
