MP for Ihavandhoo constituency, Mohamed Shifaau has been nominated to the Clemency Board.

At the parliament session today, the nomination was made by the MP for Addu-Meedhoo constituency, Rozaina Adam and supported by the MP for Dhiggaru constituency, Ikram Hassan.

The Speaker of the Parliament said that the parliament is going to vote on MP Shifau’s nomination today at 1:30 p.m.

At the previous 18th Sitting of the Parliament, the MP on the Clemency Board was then MP for Thulusdhoo constituency, Mohamed Waheed Ibrahim – he was not re-elected for office.
