Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will address the Maldives Parliament in Hindhi during the meeting scheduled for 6:45pm on Saturday.

Parliament's Media Director, Hassan Ziyau revealed to 'One Online' that arrangements are in place to translate PM Modi's address as it happens. The address will be broadcast live from state media and as well as the Parliament's own mediums.

Modi is known to use Hindhi during official addresses. Reports claim that in addition to the address, press conferences will also be carried out in Hindhi.

Six agreements are to be signed between Maldives and India during the official visit to the Maldives by Modi.
