Maldivian Foreign Ministry has said that no loan agreements will be signed during the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s visit to the Maldives.
Speaking at a news conference today on the Indian Prime Minister’s visit, Minister of State for the Foreign Ministry, Ahmed Khaleel said that although no loan agreements would be signed, projects under Indian aid will be announced.
He said that India is set to provide assistance in various fields including trade, civil service training along with customs and shipping. And the related MoUs will be signed during the visit.
