Maldives Police Service have decided to close off some roads in reclaimed suburb of Hulhumale, for the sophomore visit of Indian PM, Narendra Modi during the tenure of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

Police have publicised a chart which shows the maps that are to be closed.

According to the charts, the road that leads up to the bridge highway and phase two of Hulhumale will be closed along with a couple of smaller roads in the neighbourhoods will also be closed.

For security reasons, parking has been prohibited in the areas marked in red from 07 June 1800 hours till 09 June 2200 hours.

A large portion of the Maldivian capital, Male’ City is also set to be closed down for the official visit of the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
