Ministry of Higher Education has decided to reopen the opportunity to apply for student loans. It was announced via Twitter that a new loan scheme would open on 20 June.

They said that the new loan scheme is the remaining slots from the initial loan opportunity from March 2019. And the slots remain empty due to some applications that did not meet the criteria.

The Ministry has previously said that loans would be given to 242 students under loan scheme from March which includes 158 slots for new students and 84 slots for students currently studying.
