A large section of the dividers on the Hulhumale’ Highway connecting to the Sinamale’ Bridge has been destroyed again.

Maldives Police Service said that a report came in this morning around 10:15 a.m. about a vehicle going from Male’ to Hulhumale’ had collided with the dividers on the highway.

Police said that a large portion of the divers were destroyed in the collision however the driver involved fled the scene. And so, the police are looking for the driver.

Four traffic collisions on the highway have destroyed the dividers this year in January, February, March and May. The dividers have been destroyed in traffic collisions every month except April so far.
