Ministry of Islamic Affairs have revealed that Fitr Eid will be observed in the Maldives on Tuesday.

This was announced during the meeting of the committee at the Islamic Ministry tonight.

The committee declared Tuesday as Fitr Eid after having received word of Shawwal moon sighting in some Muslim countries and after receiving trusted information that the Shawwal moon will be visible to the Maldives according to astrological calculations.
