President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has today appointed Hisaan Hussain to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

The appointment was made under Article 158 (e) of the Maldives’ Constitution and Article 3 (5) of the “Judicial Service Commission Act” (Act number 10/2008).

President Solih presented the letter of appointment to Hisaan Hussain, ‎at a ceremony held at the President’s Office this morning.

Prior to the presentation of the letter of appointment, Hisaan Hussain took the oath of membership of JSC. The oath was administered by Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef.
