Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has decided to extend the bus service hours in the Male' area during the last ten nights of Ramadan.
In a press release today, MTCC said that they have decided to extend the service hours of the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) bus service between Male' and Hulhumale', and within Male', from tonight to provide a more comprehensive service to passengers during the last ten nights of Ramadan.
MTCC said that the service hours for routes R1, R2, R6, R7, and R8 between Male' and Hulhumale', and routes R10 and R11 within Male', will be extended until 2:00 AM.
MTCC said these changes were made based on the times and frequency of bus usage by passengers since the beginning of Ramadan, and considering public opinion. With these changes, MTCC hopes to provide additional convenience to those using the bus service during the last ten nights of Ramadan.
For more information, MTCC asks people to call their hotline number 1650. As the largest transport service provider in the Maldives, MTCC said their goal is to remain a company that provides affordable and convenient sea and land transport services to the public.
