Island Aviation's Flight Operations Director, Mohamed Ameen has been removed from the position.

Speaking to 'One Online', Public Relations Manager of Maldivian, Moosa Waseem confirmed that Ameen had been removed from his position today. However, even though he has been removed from the Flight Operations Director, he has not been fired from the company.

"We are currently restructuring the flight operations department and bringing various changes with the suggestion of the board. Ameen was removed from his position as per the advise of the board, but he has not been fired," Waseem revealed.
