The agreement with Jaah Investment has been terminated due to the company's failure to complete "The Gardens" project being developed in Hulhumale'.

Jaah Investment, a real estate company with interests in Jausa Construction, began developing "The Gardens" in 2017. The company was given two years to complete the project.

However, as the project was not completed within the given period, HDC extended the deadline several times, but the project remained unfinished.

Therefore, under the final stage of terminating the agreement signed between HDC and Jaah Investment Private Limited, the board decided to issue a legal notice, which was sent to Jaah Investment on January 27, 2025.

The notice instructed Jaah Investment to complete the project within 45 days. Otherwise, the agreement would be terminated and the project would be taken away from the company, as stated in the notice.

HDC said today that since Jaah Investment did not complete the project work within that period, the agreement with the company has been terminated, and the company has been instructed today to hand over the site.

HDC also said that after terminating the agreement, they will share information about the plans to complete the project work with those who have purchased apartments from the project.

HDC said that this step was taken to facilitate the handover of apartments to those who have paid for them from Jaah Investment as soon as possible.
