Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives has paid over MVR 6 million in claims this past month.

The company revealed that they payout claims on a weekly basis. As such, MVR 1.4 million was paid out from May 5 - May 9, MVR 500,000+ from May 12 - 16.

The biggest pay out amount was MVR 6.3 million which was paid out between May 19 - May 23.

While the company had paid out large sums of money to their clients, the company's profits had increased as well. They added that their insurance capabilities have risen to USD 140 million.

Their services includes Fire Insurance, Health Insurance and Marine Hull Insurance among many others.
