The Bank of Maldives (BML) has been announced as the Official Banking Partner for Rashu Expo, an event aimed at promoting island tourism and local culture.

Chief Business Officer of BML, Moosa Nimal, expressed the bank’s pride in supporting the event, stating that it reflects the interests of the community. He added that the expo would help connect businesses with the public.

Director of The Travel Guys, Dr Hussain Sunny Umar, welcomed BML’s involvement, highlighting that it demonstrates the bank’s commitment to supporting local tourism. He noted that the participation of the country’s largest financial institution adds value to the expo and further strengthens efforts to grow the tourism sector and local businesses.

Rashu Expo will take place at Hulhumalé Central Park from 13th to 15th February. The event will feature island councils, guest houses, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) showcasing their products.
