A man was rescued today near Villimale’ after being caught in the sea. The incident was reported at 1555hrs, according to police.

The man was pulled to safety by someone who brought him onto an MTCC ferry. He was then taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for further treatment.

Hospital sources have confirmed that the man is in stable condition. Police are currently investigating the incident.
